The Deauville American Film Festival From Friday 5th to Sunday 14th September 2008 The 34th Deauville American Film Festival will take place from Friday 5th to Sunday 14th September 2008. Over 100 films will be presented to the public on three sites: the Deauville International Centre, Deauville’s Lucien Barrière Casino, and the Le Morny Cinema. Following the success of the American Nights last year, the Festival will once more be offering screenings of great American cinema classics, around the clock, for ten days, in the Le Morny Cinema. This year the Feature Film Jury will be chaired by Carole Bouquet. As is the case every year, many stars will tread the Deauville Boardwalk: John Malkovich is coming to present “Changeling”, Clint Eastwood’s latest film. We are also eagerly awaiting Uma Thurman, Spike Lee, Ed Harris, Juliette Binoche, Kevin Spacey, Parker Posey, and Samuel L. Jackson amongst many others. The Festival is an event that is open to everyone, cinema enthusiasts and professionals alike. Cinema, stars, America is here, in Deauville, on the Boardwalk and at the Deauville International Centre. Come and participate in one of cinema’s great annual rendezvous.
